Below is a list of the some robust and simple standards for Health, Security and Environment (HSE) that is considered as relevant for the vendors of La Colina.
By vendors, we mean all companies delivering goods and services to our complex. Our view is that we must work together with our main vendors to implement and follow our HSE policy.

For vendors:
Below is a list of areas and criteria that aims to be logical, simple, robust and based on common sense. Each area and detail criterion below is relevant to our vendors to the extent they are used to deliver goods and services to our complex. In cases where an area or detail criterion is considered to be not applicable or when in doubt, statements of applicability should be added to the contract between vendors and La Colina.
La Colina asks all it’s main vendors to read through the areas and criteria below and confirm via email to our Administrator at Brokers Y Analistas (comunidades@brokersyanalistas.com) that you have read this information and will commit to comply with these standards.
HSE basic elements for the vendors of La Colina to follow:
Electricity:

- Work with electrical infrastructure should be carried out or supervised by certified persons
- Work with electrical infrastructure should comply with relevant standards for the region
- Closing of all maintenance and repair activities comes together with a compliance certificate from the vendor.
Working with water infrastructure:

- Work with water infrastructure (pipes, drains, filters, valves, tanks, pumps etc) should be carried out or be supervised by certified plumbers
- Work with water infrastructure should comply with relevant standards for the region
Working with gas infrastructure:

- Work with gas infrastructure (tanks, pipes, valves etc) should be carried out or be supervised by certified gas engineers
- Work with gas infrastructure should comply with relevant standards for the region
Working with structural and supporting parts of our buildings:

- Work with structural and supporting parts of our buildings (walls, pillars, stairs etc) should be carried out or be supervised by certified structural engineers
- Work with structural and supporting parts of our buildings should comply with relevant standards for the region
Chemicals:

- Purchase and use of chemicals are assessed regarding their potential impact regarding pollution and environmental aspects.
- Environmental-friendly alternatives should be checked out and preferred when appropriate.
Working environment:

- Craftsmen from the vendor are aware of the regional rules and requirements for using appropriate protection equipment and working by secure methods to safeguard their lungs, ears, eyes, exposure of chemicals, risk of falling down etc.
- The vendor makes sure that rules for protection listed above are complied to.
Waste:

- Handling of waste must follow any standards and instructions given by the regional authorities.
- The Janitor should be contacted in case such instructions are unclear or not known.
Information sharing, training and follow up:

- The vendor management has defined their respective HSE (Health Security and Environmental) standards relevant to their services and goods.
- Said HSE standards are clearly communicated to the employees on a regular basis.
- The employees working in customer assignments are trained to handle any accidents in case they occur.
- There are follow up activities to make sure said standards are complied to.
Liability and insurance:

- The vendor is responsible for the health and wellbeing of their respective craftsmen
- The vendor has insurance to cover any accident in case they occur when working for it’s customers.
- In cases where the assigned work of the vendor lead to accidents, said insurance should cover any damage occurred on properties and any needed healthcare or even fatal outcome for own employees as well as 3rd party persons.
